PaperMode is designed to be private by default. The app runs locally on your Mac and does not collect, sell, or share personal data.

Data Collection

PaperMode does not collect personal information, analytics, telemetry, crash reports, usage history, or screen content.

Local Settings

PaperMode stores your app settings locally on your Mac, such as filter strength, warmth, dimming, Daylight Mode, and launch-at-login preference. These settings do not leave your device.

Permissions

PaperMode does not request access to your camera, microphone, screen recording, location, contacts, files, or network activity.

Internet Access

PaperMode does not require an internet connection to work.

App Store Purchases

If you buy PaperMode through the App Store, Apple may process purchase, billing, and account information under Apple's own privacy policy. PaperMode does not receive your payment details.
